A seminar hosted by Slovakia’s National Labour Inspectorate / Národný inšpektorát práce took place in the town of Žilina to promote risk assessment practices and the use of Online interactive Risk Assessment (OiRA) tools.
Experts from the University of Žilina, (Faculty of Safety Engineering), explored OiRA tools and their practical use in different sectors. Representatives from an automotive manufacturing plant shared experiences in conducting risk assessments in this industry.
Additionally, the National Labour Inspectorate addressed how to ensure compliance with safety standards and a representative from the European Enterprise Network (EEN) and the Technická univerzita v Košiciach (Technical University of Košice) highlighted innovations in occupational safety and health.
