Higher Education and Research (HER) institutions can now carry out workplace risk assessments swiftly and efficiently by using a brand new Online interactive Risk Assessment (OiRA) tool.
Developed by ETUCE and EFEE, in close collaboration with EU-OSHA, this is the first initiative at European level to offer a free, user-friendly tool for risk prevention, specifically tailored to HER staff.
The tool helps to assess and manage physical, psychosocial and other risks related to teaching, academic, and research activities; in office work, laboratories, libraries, sports and off-campus activities, and other work environments.
Risk assessment is essential for fostering safe and healthy working conditions and is a mandatory requirement across all EU countries.
